NOAH SPITZER
ACTOR
Noah was thrilled to recieve grant funding from the Ontario Arts Council through the Toronto Fringe Festival to develop a first draft of his latest play, Pharma Bro. Now in development to become a screenplay, Pharma Bro follows the rise and fall of pharmaceutical "bad boy" and hedge fund manager, Martin Shkreli.
Noah is currently pursuing a Master of Teaching degree at OISE (University of Toronto) while balancing acting, supply teaching, outdoor education work, and adventure trip leading. The last year brought him to Banff and Yoho National Park, Croatia, Costa Rica, and many nights at Robarts Library scouring the literature on risk perceptions among outdoor educators, the subject of his Master's research.
Noah plays the leading role of possessed office co-worker Gabe in the darkly funny short, Demon on Hold. Watch his reel for a glimpse into a character torn between being a nice guy and a satanic spectre (hint: the password to watch it is "spitzer")!
Noah played the large principal role of Colin Fry in the independent feature film Georgetown, starring Christoph Waltz, Vanessa Redgrave and Annette Bening. He had the good fortune to act in three scenes opposite two-time Academy-Award winner Waltz. The film premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and has seen gone to Paramount+ and Netflix.

Noah had the honour of playing a young man named Matt Lakewood, who is waiting for a liver transplant, in the 30-minute short film For Clara. You can find out more about the film here.
Noah returned to Young People's Theatre in their 50th season to play the role of George Brady in Hana's Suitcase. The play opened YPT's 50th season before touring to Montreal's Geordie Productions and Seattle Children's Theatre. The show picked up two Dora nominations, Outstanding Direction and Outstanding Ensemble, in Theatre for Young Audiences!

Excited to announce that the short film, Guess Who's Not Coming to Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner? has won "Best Film" at Montreal's YoungCuts Festival!
